2. What data the app accesses
The app accesses your device contacts only when you request an export. The exported data may include the contact fields available on your device (for example: names, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, notes, or other contact-related fields).
Permission used: READ_CONTACTS (only for the export operation you initiate).
3. Why the app accesses contacts
The app reads contacts solely to generate a CSV backup file requested by the user.
- The app does not use contact data for advertising purposes.
- The app does not use contact data for marketing purposes.
- The app does not sell contact data.
4. Data storage and transfer
Backup files are exported as CSV and saved locally in the location you choose using Android’s Storage Access Framework (SAF).
The app does not upload or transmit your contacts to any server.
5. Data sharing
The app does not share contact data with third parties as part of its core backup function.
If you use the Share feature, the exported CSV file is shared only with the app(s) you explicitly choose via Android’s system share dialog. Those apps may have their own privacy policies.
6. User control
You decide whether to create a backup, where to save it, and whether to share the exported file.
You remain responsible for any backup files you keep, copy, move, or share after export.
7. Third-party services
The app does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or remote servers (as of this version).
8. Security
The app uses standard Android mechanisms (SAF) to write the CSV file and share it with explicit user action. You are responsible for keeping the exported file secure.
9. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
